Walt Disney chose Orlando for his Disney World theme park because it was the best weather in the world for the sun seeking holiday maker throughout the year. The winters are mild and relatively dry. The summers are hot with a higher rainfall. Typically you get heavy rain for an hour or so in the afternoon and then the sun comes out again. The dress is shorts and tee shirts almost all the time. The hurricane season is from June through October but again Disney's choice was well thought out. Because Orlando is inland it has only had one bad hurricane season in 40 years.
